Just snag his phone take it to the shitter with you grab the goods off of it you can get an adapter that plugs into the charge port and allows external storage to be hooked up IE flash sticks just make sure you copy and not move the photos when done put his phone in a random spot and when he ask where his phone went just play it off and say i think i seen it in or on etc make it someplace he would of been throughout his day

This would work but i know android/samsung galaxy phones have a trash once you delete a txt so you may need to find out if his does as well and double dump the txt once from the text menu and again from the trash find it under the text message inbox/list their should be 3 dots click on it and you should see "trash" that will take you to the trash and your deleted message then dump it again from there this should keep you under the radar and out of hot water

If it’s iPhone to iPhone you can share using airdrop and no trace will be left. Don’t use iMessage - I did that on a girls phone about 8 years ago when drunk and the next day she messaged me asking who’s number this was because her iPad showed all the photos that had been sent.
