This one was too big to fit as a comment. It also kinda bogs down Chrome on my Windows box (but not on my Linux one for whatever reason), so use with care.

You are awesome! These scripts provide the most elegant solution for my problem! Why use an unknown plugin, when a neat little script can do the job, right? I know, I know JS is the Devil's mother-in-law, but it's good enough for this.

I couldn't write it myself, but I think I was able to check what they do. Well, not the third one, that just too bloody long, but the other two. The first somehow didn't work, but the second does the job beautifully! I just changed the max-width: value to 50%, so the pictures are loaded with a better size.
Once I'll have some free time, I'll also add the links to each picture, so if you like one of them, you can have the full-size image with a simple click.
