It makes no difference who has the password, they have wiped all files off the server as of this morning. This seems to be the end of the road. Damm, it is shame, big corporations tumbling down for "spam" is not fair, there are rooms that aren't porn like anime, comic books, board games, warcraft, videogame, television, films. Also porn Euro, vintage, etc rooms.

It a shame, volafile it was a cool place, not as cool as 2017-2018 but is still somtimes shine a bit like years before.

I hope volafile developers find help or someone give them money or another servers.

It appears to be some sort of FTP type process.

Mega is known for banning chats along with the accounts of everyone in them at the drop of a hat the moment they receive a report about anything in it. Even if the report is false. Instead of dmca takedowns only affecting the offending file; they result in entire servers/chats getting permanently banned etc.

I'm afraid that in the long run, no single service that is dependent on larger corporations will help. Or on individual people who look after it in their spare time. A distributed system is always the better choice on the internet. A meta-chat that points to different archives, servers, platforms, etc. is the hardest to stop. It is an interesting discussion.
