Well, you can always use something like OBS Studio to make a copy of any streaming content on your computer screen. The only thing with this is there were a lot of pop-ups. Perhaps if these could be disabled in some way, this would work.

I was able to download videos using this Chrome extension:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...opahnpealaklle

After you start playing and buffering the video, click open the extension. Even though it says no file detected, you can click "Force download" and it should start downloading

Thanks for the link and your instructions, Floppyring, but I got a hurdle where it pops up that I must update the Adobe Flash Player.
What I didn't like about it was that the link didn't got to Adobe, instead it goes off to a different unknown url that could spell disaster if followed?
