this may seems like a lost cause, but i am looking for some OLD beach videos from the original eurobeach.com site. i realize these are ANCIENT, but i figured that there is no harm asking.

Probably alongside several other oldies who collected the files back in the day.

I happen to have kept about a 1000 different files that date back to the eurobeach site and even further when some were posted on usenet.

I was going to eventually post those files in a seperate thread, when I'd gone through all of them to put down vidcaps and to see which ones were duplicates.

As you say we're talking about ancient history, which is also reflected in how the owner(s) experimented with the various types of video files as they became available. That's why there's duplicates, and why those 1000 files might be a lesser number once I start posting them.

Some of those files later made it onto the Ilovethebeach site in slightly improved versions, all of which further complicates the matter.

So posting all of them is still a project a little further down the line, but here's a teaser with three files in a zip.

wow, would love to have these for my collection, even if unsorted. Those 3 in the ILTB files are:
eb007 = eb1007
eb010 = eb1104
eb011 = eb1009

It would be great to get the orig eurobeach versions, to see if there are any they didn't port to ILTB.

Also, does anyone know if the 15 VHS videos Eurobeach put out were just compilations of the small clips, or some new footage in there too? Would love to get my hands on those originals if anyone has digitised them.

That's exactly the goddamned problem with the files from that area and that particular, uh, artist. They kept repackaging the files, to different formats, and quite often, they didn't even use corresponding file numbers as they attached the new prefixes.

I'm going to post what I have when I'm ready.

I have quite a few of those compilations, most were smallish, some bigger. I think they were primarily made up of the small clips already on the market, but I can't rule out that they included new footage in them. I think it takes a photographic elephants memory to remember everything they posted individually and compare it to the compiled files, and also to compare the selections of each format. I used to have such a memory, but now that I'm older, less so.

So I'm backtracking on the promise of checking for duplicates. It would be a mountain of work to do, so I'll just post everything I have, and then brace myself for comments that complain I've posted the same content twice

I'm trying to set a sort of historical emphasis, starting with the first files I got hold of. Unfortunately some of those were black and whites, but I currently can't find them. But then again I think the b/ws were later re-issued with colour files.

Just be patient. It takes time to vidcap all those files, especially those in outdated formats.

I doubt that there were videos. They're from the voyeurweb which was photos mostly. Of course it's not impossible that these photos are vidcaps from somebody's videos, but it's nothing something that I have ever seen.
