As bonetti says, the pipe is shorter, causing more pressure. You are probably referring to the "hissing" noise a lot (but not all) women make when peeing. It's a combination of the pressure with the pressure of the urine exiting/hitting against the labia. Not every girl will pee the same. Labia will affect the flow and force of flow too and even in each girl, each pee occasion will be different depending on how she sits/squats, or how the labia is sitting and which direction the pee will flow around the vulva.
