So I came home from college this weekend...to one of the biggest shocks of my life. I've always thought of my mother as very conservative (almost naive about sexuality). I had planned on arriving this morning (SAT), but a canceled class allowed me to leave earlier and arrive on Friday evening. I figured I'd surprise my mother, drove up the house with the lights off and quietly entered.
As I walked through the house, I could hear that the shower was on in her bathroom. You all know my presence during her showers/bathing/changing clothes has never, ever been an issue, right? Her behavior has always indirectly encouraged it. But not last night.
I had my smartphone down to my side. I was anxious to get another pic of her. It's been weeks and I've literally been going through withdrawals not being able to see her body. My heart was pounding as I stood at the door and I was doing all I could do not to walk in aroused. I opened the door, took a few quiet steps in and pressed the button on my phone. In that moment, my mother did something she's never, ever done before. She screamed at me to "get out!" I apologetically turned and scrambled out, shutting the door. I went in and sat down on the couch, gasping for air. "What just happened?" The moment was frozen in my mind. She was holding something in her hand and she quickly moved it behind her back. Was it...? There's no way. Not her. She would never own such a thing.
My hands were trembling as I held my phone. I finally got the courage to open up the picture. If it isn't what I think it is, I'm not sure what else it could be. I can't imagine what else would cause her to react that way.
I quickly closed the picture and put my phone in my pocket moments before she came out, wearing a robe, still dripping wet...and she nervously apologized and said that I had startled her. She's not the only one that was startled and I'm in shock, fellas. I'm in total shock.
