I made some of these a while back, but posted them mainly at another forum. Then i got a new computer and i didn't get the program to work until recently. These are enlarged versions of pictures that has been previously posted, so all pictures in this thread will be reposts in a strict way to look at it. But, by enlarging them i personally think that most pictures become better. You feel closer and in some cases you'll be able to see details that you havn't spotted in the original.
I'm using a plug-in to Photoshop that, unlike regular enlarging, will "guess" what the new pixels should look like (regular enlargment will just multiplicate). Therefore the result will in most cases be much better. Some pictures you won't even notice they've been enlarged and some will not be as good. Instagram pics that are grainy in general will still be grainy but they won't be grainier. They'll be just as bad in quality as the original, just twice the size and therefore you'll see what's going on much better. The result will never be better than the originals but in most cases they'll be just as good, only larger.
Don't expect crystal clear pictures because most of the time this type of pictures aren't clear to begin with.
I've also tried to change colours in those pictures that were too bright/too dark or had some annoying filter. Didn't work on all though.
We all know we can't compare to Peehunter. Even though you find something interesting on Twitter/Instagram you know he will post it later, along with tons of pictures you havn't found.
So i think that i could post some of these instead to do a contribution. But i have to say, i'm very bad at posting regularly...
