Easiest way if you are just snapping from your phone, is change your settings to make the volume buttons the trigger for photos. Then you can hold the phone however you want and she won't be suspicious because you are just holding the phone by its sides. Just make sure the sound is off and no flash. if you are worried about her seeing the photos, delete them right away. they will stay in your trash for 30 days, so you have time to move them.
