In the UK in the 90s there was a chatshow on Channel 4 hosted by Jamie Theakstone and Zoe Ball called The Priory. It was aimed at teenagers and was very informal show.

They did wacky things and a case in point of this was one particular episode. The contestants name was Suzie and to win a holiday to Niagara Falls all she had to do was hold her pee in for the entire hour long show, of course that hour is edited so goodness knows how long she actually did have to hold it.

Before the show she drank 3 pints of water and then every 15 minutes of the show itself she had to drink a mug of tea. The whole time they had a camera focused on her and the viewer was able to watch her the whole time in a little screen in the bottom right.
