Unfortunately, Casper for Android is officially dead. They received a cease and desist from Snapchat's legal team =(

manually installing the apk doesn't work?

I'ts not about installing it, I had it on my phone already.

Last time I tried to login, it gave me a weird error message. I went to the site (casper.io) and it's just a copy of the cease and desist order, with "Casper has shut down!" at the top of the page.

So the site is no longer, and you can't log in via the app. Casper is over =(

Tell me about it. I hate using those screen cappers too, cause they're so clunky. I'd much rather just use a 3rd party app, but Snapchat *hates* it, and apparently isn't screwing around anymore =X

wait, how do you search snap chat I though this was a thing. where you had to have friends to see their stuff?

I can't afford a smartphone, do you mind uploading some stuff?

Right now, I have only figured out how to save them n Snapchat, but I will play around with it and see if I can share them.

On Android, I have had good luck saving Snapchat videos with AZ Screen Recorder. It's simple to use and has a good number of options. Videos are saved as mp4 and I have never had any indication that anyone knew what was happening. I haven't been on Snapchat in a while so, it's possible they have updated to block this but figured I'd share.
