Anyone knows what do I need to spy a bathroom?

I got myself a lg g wear watch the other day, it has an app you can use to view your phone's camara, take pics and video. If you put it into airplane mode (except blutooth) and mute all sound, then hide the phone, you can literally sit outside and watch in real time the chicks peeing, then record the good stuff. The hard part is hiding your phone with the lens pointed at the toilet while still being hidden. I was thinking of modifying a bottle of shampoo or shower gel to insert the phone into. what if I use a "MINI DV MD 80" or similar stuff?
It has a motion sensor or a noise threshold i don't remember.. the problem is the battery, will it consume even when the camera isn't recording?
