Ive managed to take some nice shots of her fresh out of the shower :) sadly the same issue with the bad quality while using x10 zoom

Yeah, those look ok, but very blurry. Besides the curtains, my guess is the blurriness comes from the issues with keeping the camera steady and autofocus that I mentioned before.

A setup like this will help with the steadiness, but you'll still need to find a phone that lets you focus manually. Those two ingredients will lead to much clearer photos/videos

Look at the Sony QX10. It's a clip-on camera with 10x zoom. Essentially a self contained camera the size of just a lens. It takes stills and video on a built-in micro card. Clips on to your phone or can work standalone. Easily hidden under a towel for example. Your phone is the viewfinder. Can xfer files to the phone or leave on the card.
