I definitely observed a more relaxed attitude about it.
In college I worked at a nude beach and the women were very open about peeing in front of strangers, especially when the water was cold. It was very common to see women squat openly and pee in the sand by the water. I once saw a woman get into an upside down crab position and arch a pee stream about 5 or 6 feet into the water. Oddly enough the water wasn't even cold and her pee stream came within a foot of a man and a woman who were in the water. They both laughed at the impressive stream then went about their business like nothing was going on.
