Default Useful download programs
For downloads I either use :

http://www.torchbrowser.com

it has useful "Media" button at the top which downloads vids

or if that does not work I use:

http://www.ytddownloader.com

automatically downloads the highest quality version from youtube, also works with Dailymotion
