Do you mean, for example, moving the camera about 10 cm to the right without changing the direction of the camera? Or should the shift be greater?

Shift should be near real eyes shift. So 10 cm is ok.
Is shift is exp. 5 times of eye shift, then it looks like 1:5 models, but 3D efect is bigger.
