It can be kind of hit or miss, but yeepee or #yeepee on Twitter turns up some stuff, particularly if you search during or immediately after Friday and Saturday nights.

In case anyone didn't know the backstory on that meme, Angela Yee is a radio DJ in NYC who is pretty unapologetic about peeing in public. It's kind of a running gag with her, and she's even done it on camera a few times.

I have a little problem relating to this. Twitter are probably the best source of new material at the moment and it's searchable. Twicsy are a good site to search for just pics. There's just one problem.

Twicsy doesn't include pics from "pic.twitter.com", where photos uploaded directly to twitter are located. It's a fairly new service but it seems like most pictures are uploaded that way and sites likes Lockerz (reallu crappy site btw), Twitpic and Yfrog are losing users fast.

Twitters own search engine aren't compatible with searching for "pic.twitter.com" entries either. I don't think it searches in links. Searching for just pee/peeing/piss/pissing and then trying to locate the entries with a pic are very time consuming. At times you could get up to 100 tweets per minute for words like pee and piss. Good luck finding the non-searchable "pic.twitter" pics that way. :(

So... My question. Does anyone know a solution? Is there a site that search for pic.twitter pics? A site where it's possible to search for tweets that includes links?


GS65: Yeah, the YeePee Movement was great. She really got girls to pee outside and then proudly tell the world. Unfortunately it has sort of become a little forgotten during the winter. July - September there could be 20-30 tweets about it during a weekend. Now there's at most 1-2 tweets about it during a weekend. Let's hope that Angela starts to tweet about it in the summer again.

Okay. The only way to find pic.twitter at the moment is to manually search for it. So i wonder, does anyone here know if there's a Firefox plug-in, or Greasemonkey script, that will load more results in the Twitter search engine?

As it is now i think i loads somehwere around 25-50 new messages for everytime you hit the bottom of the page. It would be much easier to find the pic.twitter results if it would load let's say 1.000 new messages for everytime i hit the bottom. As it is know it's very time consuming to load up a large amount of messages as it can be several hundreds of messages containing words like "pee" and "piss" every hour.

You can use internal twitter search engine. Enter "peeing twitter" and you will see list of latest twits with links to pic.twitter.com

There is one problem - no preview. You need to click every link. It takes a time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think twicsy, picfog support IMGUR in addition to pic.twitter.com

Seems like Twicsy has finally started to index pic.twitter now. FINALLY! I think we have missed several hundred of pictures because of that earlier. :(

Which sites are the most common sites for blogs in different countries? I've found that if you search for "pee site:blogspot.com" for example at Google you can find some pics.

Would be great if people from example Netherlands, France, Spain (or Latin America), Italy, Poland, Norway and so on could try it with whatever sites are common in their countries. I guess it's much easier for someone from each country. I have no idea which blog sites are popular in France and how to search for it in French for example.
